Cass, this is AWESOME!!!!! You are quite the graphic artist -- I'm so impressed! Since this idea of the Jungle Yacht and its Yodeling Pirates seems to be catching on, I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to have a separate board for it, so that we can post threads such as our itinerary, our supplies, songs for our album, etc. Watcha think? Yodeling songs Part 1 Focus - Hocus Pocus linkYodeling songs Part 2 The Cleverlys Hocus Pocus linkLizzy Lizzy, I remember when the Cleverlys did this on MCR (who could forget?) but I didn't know about Focus' version. Both are amazing! We definitely need to do this song, but I think it might take a while for us to work our way up to this level of yodeliciousness. I think we need to have Uncle Art, who has experience with choral singing, give us some direction so that we can sound "professional". I thought you might like this interview with the yodeling keyboardist from Focus: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDPlwhqowHIAs for singing on the Jungle Yacht, we are going to have more than one of them so that one of them can be our practice room. Chef will be driving the other one so that he doesn't have to listen to us practice. My dad will be driving the practice Yacht because he's very hard of hearing, plus when he takes his hearing aids out he can't hear ANYTHING. And he can yodel along with us, loudly, and that will guarantee that people pay us to stop! Cali |

Oh yes! I am familiar with Focus. I had some of their music in the 70's. The lead guitarist was/is named Jan Akkerman for which the famous Framus Akkerman guitar was built! But I will let Clogger expand more on that......the whole Jan Akkerman story has a twist that brings us both back home to one of our Favorite guitarists!
