Got this CD when it came out. Wow. I cannot stop listening to it. Have you ever bought an album and as soon as you listened to it all the way through.....you wanted to start over from the beginning and listen to it again all the way through? Well, THIS....is one of those CDs for me! Wow. That is the best I can say. There honestly is not one song on the CD that I would pass over. All of it is good. It is hard to say what my favorite tunes on this CD are when I love them all, but I'll try and list some of the songs that stand out to me. The first tune on this CD that really got my attention was "New South Africa". But after the "gazillionth" time of listening to it, I also love ; "Railroad","Ride to U", "Am I born to Die", "Little Birdie" <---AWESOME vocals on that one! Aww, heck, I like em all. Abigail's vocals are just stellar on this CD. I am so glad I bought it and now I want to research all of Abigail's back catalog and see what I've been missing! (Pre Uncle Earl or outside of Uncle Earl) I am hoping for another CD from this wonderful pairing of banjo styles.

Hi Moose , it sure is a great song , i love it too , when i heard it upon release i kept replaying this one over and over and over too. They done a great set at hardly strictly bluegrass this year , it should still be in the archives . There is something magical about a married couple making music together. and its extra special for me when its with banjos ! I also found out That banjo maker Romero you posted a link about is also in a duo with his wife Pharis , they would be perfect for MCR ! there are a few vids on of them youtube you may like too

I agree Pick. I LOVE that Bela/Abigail CD! I am sure hoping they will make more music for us in the future! As for the Romero duo, yes, we have had threads about them here on the Forum. They caught my eye a few years ago and would be great to see on the MCR stage sometime. I'm glad you like them,. I enjoy hearing them sing and play together too.

The tone of Bela's banjo is out of this world good. I was wondering where the lovely setting for this video was, and it turns out it was on the Oregon coast. I'll have to get over there one of these days......
