Lizzy, thanks for posting these Little Feat videos. I have many gaps in my musical education, and Little Feat is one of them (so is Bob Dylan -- can you believe that?!) How am I ever going to get all the good stuff listened to in one life time?

Lizzy, do you watch the TV show, "Nashville"? The video of Gretchen reminded me of it. "Nashville" actually has some pretty good music on it, including a couple of Jim L.'s songs (performed by characters on the show). T Bone Burnett and Buddy Miller are the musical directors.

Lizzy, Here's an old (1993 or so) video from my favorite rockin' country gal, Carlene Carter of Tennessee. She didn't just grow up listening to C&W music; she loved Elvis' music as well. This song has a Rockpile feel to it, not so unusual considering that she was at one time married to Nick Lowe. Carlene Carter ~ "Every Little Thing" www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdPex_bPZ_ECaligonian1

Here is another one that I think Cali will like. This, once again is Aaron Keim. Here, he sings East Virginia Blues with Char Mayer. Their voices sound beautiful together. This is one of my favorites of all of Aaron's music. Aaron Keim & Char Mayer

Art, these are all some great songs! Did you know that Carlene has made a new album, "Carter Girl", that will be coming out in early 2014? Do you have her excellent 2008 album, "Stronger"?
