This weeks's guests are to be Dave Mason, Paul Kelly, Katherine Britt & Bill Chambers, Mustard Courage, Melody Pool, and The Bushwackers with our favorite Jim Lauderdale as host.
I do know who Dave Mason is now...(thanks to Lizzy's link, ha), but the rest of these groups seem to be new to me. Anyone else know anything about them? I'll research them if I have time, but feel free to chime in with what ya know on these upcoming performers.
You're right Lizzy, Dave Mason will be a good one to see!

Dave Mason was in the Band Traffic, and recorded with Jimi Hendirx (all along the watchtower) Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Fleetwood Mac, Roy Gallager Great Guitar Player! And many music artist has recorded Dave Mason Songs what Great Song Writer! What a cool show coming up!

This was a great show. I really enjoyed Dave's set. Was so glad to see it go on longer. What a talent. He plays and sings like nobody's business. Glad I got to see that.
The surprise act for me on this show was Mustered Courage. Wow, can these guys pick and sing. They are definitely going on my "must buy now" list! I hope they continue to do well and succeed in the music business.

IBMA announced it's 2014 Showcase Acts for the 2014 World Of Bluegrass...and one of my new up and coming favorites was on the list! I got excited about this and just had to share it with all of you here. I know someone will understand my enthusiasm through one of their parallel passions if they saw one of their favorite groups listed! ha. Anyhow the group is from Australia I think (Help me out here Bananabenda!) and is called Mustered Courage. Glad to see them get some more "mojo" here in the states. I have trouble buying their music and would really like more of their CDs! Cruel Alibis |
