Fest, it's amazing to me that a 10-month-old pup hasn't destroyed anything at your house yet. My golden retriever/pit bull mix was about six months old when I adopted him from a shelter. He was perfectly behaved for the first week, then I guess once he felt confident that we were gonna keep him, he unleashed his true self. He was quite a destructive boy; in fact, we didn't put up a Christmas tree the first year we had him because we were afraid he'd knock it over and drag it through the doggie door into the back yard. He finally stopped chewing stuff up when he was about three years old.

I know, it's amazing. He is like an old soul in a puppy body - such a good dog. He just left. I told him he could come back any time, no matter what Bobbie says. She won't admit it, but she's going to miss (tormenting) him too!

OK y'all, Bobbie update! She now has a new playmate: meet "Scruggs", a 2 yr old terrier mix rescue!! They are still in the process of getting to know each other, but so far so good. :-)

He got the "snip snip" today, poor baby! He's still pretty groggy - Bobbie keeps going over and checking on him. She doesn't understand why he's not chasing her or wanting to play! Funny how they are becoming quick friends! Here he was last night, before he knew what was going down today. :-) Attachments:

Fest, Scruggs is SO cute! I'm glad to hear that he and Bobbie are becoming friends. It's very sweet of her to check on him, and I'm sure he'll be back to playing with her in no time.
