Hello everyone! Thought we'd get the ball rolling so here is the very first post on this forum! If you are a musician yourself, whether back porch picker or you get up and entertain folks...share with us what your gear is. I'll start. I have a Deering 5 string openback. Also a nondiscript chineese fiddle that I haven't had time for in a while...but hope to soon.

Chinese fiddle? Very interesting.

For Porch Pickin' I have a Fender Kingman SCE, a 22 year old Fender Montara (needs some fret work) and a 12-string Copley. All are acoustic-electric.

Everything else is electric, details to come out in follow on threads...

Well everybody, I have....

My uke is a concert soprano (the half size between true soprano size and true concert size) Oscar Shmidt
My acoustic guitar is ared Quilted Ash Morgan Monroe
My electric is a white Dean Playmate
My amp is a Roland Cube amp
My guitar effects gadget is a 6 line pod

Oh, and I use Ernie Ball strings on guitars!
