We do shows all summer and fall and post parts of them up online. But today we got a good video of Cassidy and the song she choreographed for Rik Emmett's song "Already Gone" off of his new CD entitled "Marco's Secret Songbook". Cassidy did all the choreographing herself. She is performing with Buck and regular clogging steps, but mostly buck. Buck is a more difficult dance that is danced more on the balls of the feet as opposed to the whole foot. It's good for young people, but not old ones like me ha ha. But I try sometimes! ha But anyhow, here is the video, we wanted to share it with all of you here! Cassidy clogging to Rik Emmett's "Already Gone"

I was surprised to see the lovely bright colors that the Amish women and girls were wearing. I guess I was expecting something a little more somber.

Thanks Cali! Cassidy sure enjoys clogging. As for the Amish, they are our biggest fans!! They are a delight audience for which to perform! When my husband and I first moved here in the late 80's, the Amish wore mostly dark solids. They wore grays, dark plum, dark blue or black and that was about it. No electricity what so ever unless there was a medical condition in the house and they needed it for medical equipment. In those cases it had to be approved thru the elders of the church district they belonged to. So even those permissions varied from area to area depending on the liberalness of the church district. Nowadays most Amish have solar panels on their roofs to run such things as water wells or a few other needed things. (Some have regular electric in the milking parlor I'm told, but not the house) Another things that has changed is their dress. They have went from dull drab "Serious" solids to bright lively beautiful colors! Even the men wear color. I'll try and attach a crowd shot I took after our show two Saturdays ago.
