Railroad Earth for those not familiar with them is best described (by me) as a cross between roots music, Greatful Dead & bluegrass. Anyhow, they are going to be streamed live tonight, April 6th at 9pm Central time on Lightning 100 from Nashville. I'm gonna try to catch it if I remember it is on! Lightning 100! Railroad Earth at 9pm CDT

Moose, I tuned in at 7 p.m. PDT, which should be 9 p.m. CDT and wasn't hearing any Railroad Earth. From your description, they sound like they'd be interesting. Oh well....

I don't know what happened to them! I do like a lot of their music. They do a good version of Dandelion Wine. Their twitter said that they would be on at 7 central, then they re-posted it and said it changed to 8 central....sooo I must have missed them. I didn't check the twitter acct in time I guess. Here is a taste of them, I love the lyric in this song; Railroad Earth/Been Down That Road Before
And one more that showcases the band without Todd the lead singer...The fiddle player Tim Carbone is one of my favorite fiddlers. Pickin' Medly
