We all enjoyed Sierra Hull on the show tonight. There was discussion that she was short. (probably taller than me, tho!) Anyhow, I told Cali I'd post up this video I saw some time ago where Sierra is sharing the stage in a jam-type fashion with the bluegrass band The Boxcars & other BG artists. Now, the Boxcar's mando player is Adam Steffey. He is a very tall man. And Sierra, well, short. At one point during the song, Big Spike Hammer, Sierra backs away from her mic, set up for her and her Mando at her height. So watch or click ahead to the 3:18 mark. When Adam gets up to the mike, all he can do is "squat" down to get his Mando in line with the mike! You can her guffaws in the crowd and laughter, all in good fun! The bands had a good laugh too! Ron Block (Banjo) and Clay Hess (Guitar) both flanking Adam on the L and R also join in and "squat" with Adam! Too funny! This is one of my fav videos to watch.
