March 12th Rhonda Vincent & The Rage Wild Ponies Teea Goans Cabinet Don Duprie Jim Lauderdale - Host Remember in January when Teea was in the chat with us? How cool! Moose, I remember when Teea chatted with us. She said something about playing spoons along with a particular song when she was a kid, so I thought it might be fun if we brought spoons to next week's chat room in her honor. Cali

Maybe we can get Dylan to give Teea a message before her set that we are all gonna be playing spoons during her set in her honor!

I'm excited for Cabinet. They've been making a name for themselves in Pennsyltuckey the past several years and broke out last year. Beards, hats, banjo, drums and flannels ...pretty much got it all. Here's a sip www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rp8CML1RZU

I am now definitely looking forward to seeing these guys Wednesday too.

Wow, Moose, that is so cool! When I was a kid, they were called "love beads". What a silly name! I've never had any hippie/love beads, for some reason. I must rethink that. I hope Teea wears her hippie beads on tomorrow's MCR. Cali

Cali, you are not going to believe this....I tweeted to Ms Goans that we would be "backing her up" in the chat with our own spoons....and she favorited my tweet and retweeted it! How Cool is that? Can't wait to see her set tomorrow night!

I love that ad about the Monkees Beads....it says that they, the Monkees, sit around and make these beads for their friends. And, hold on...wait...AND...it says that that Davy wrote the instructions himself! ha ha I'm sure! Really? I got a kick out of it. I thought today's ads were silly sometimes and "manipulative", but I guess it always has been so.

Teea gave us chatters a shout out from stage. How cool. If you missed it, you can find it here in the now posted archive; Her shout out starts at the 20:38 mark on the video. I sent her another tweet, told her we enjoyed her set and thanked her for the shout out. MCR Archive of Mar 12 show
